Yet Nothing Does

I've been holding my breath
going through the tunnel of life
just waiting for something to happen,
-Tick tick tick,
Yet nothing does.

So I return to the pale ending
Due to being lost at the brink of beginning
This still life framed within another
Plausible futures torn asunder
-Tick tick tick
Yet nothing does.

For where art thou who shan't not and could not
Be he who shall create and innovate
A world filled with blissful harmonious pleasures
Of choirs that know no measure
For if the ticking should ever end
Would life remember to begin?
